Concerning 2010, we had no funds at all, except from the Direzione generale per gli archivi, which is sustaining the Guide to the XX century music sources and documentation.
To overcome this empasse, we have been working to strenghten relationships with foreign institutions in Rome: the Belgian Embassy and Academia Belgica of Rome, the West Germany Embassy and Goethe-Institut, the French Embassy and Centre Saint Louis de France, the Swiss Institut of Rome, the American Academy in Rome, all gave us patronages and willingness in collaborating.
We received particular appreciation by the French Embassy, with whom we are at present achieving events to come. Thereto, it is a privilege to write a few words to express thanks to the Ambassador, Mr. Jean-Marc de La Sablière, and to the attachée culturelle, M.me Sandrine Mini.
